Excellent heating unit November 23, 2008 CA Bookworm (29 Palms, California United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is an excellent heating unit. Our old Nautilus lasted for over 15 years so we decided to replace it with another. This unit is much quieter than the old one and more sleek looking. It slipped right into the metal housing in the ceiling so installation was a snap. We are very satisfied with it's performance and the great price from Amazon.com. JP
Easy replacement. . . September 10, 2009 M. Jackson (Silicon Valley, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Perfect replacement for 15+ year old unit. Interchangable parts fit in existing chasis so no sheetrock work was needed. Easy!

Nice Fan November 25, 2008 Ann McCann (Boston MA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
What can I say? It does the job, wasn't difficult to install. It's fairly quiet, and the heat works very well in our otherwise unheated bathroom!
Yes it is Noisier, but Look at the Price! September 3, 2010 Mr. Allnut (United States) Yes the Broan is noisier than fans costing 2 or 3 times as much, but at this price it is a good fan with nice options of vent and heat.
I bought this fan to update an old Broan/Nutone in place since the 70's. The old fan, both heat and vent, still worked, but was looking very dated and had some rusting metal. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, with a little finagling, the parts are still interchangeable in the old housing!
I did not have to remove the old housing from the ceiling, I just replaced the guts and put on the new vent and light fixture. Done in 20 minutes! Fantastic!
Try and find that in any other product made these days. The same basic design for decades. Why? Cause it works.
Make sure you size your bathroom correctly and purchase the fan with the correct CFM (cubic feet per minute) for the room. You have to have enough CFM to turnover the air. This fan does the job in the right size bathroom.
